GORAKHPUR, July 13 -- The body of a junior resident doctor, who was found dead in his hostel room at BRD Medical College, was given to his family members here on Saturday. Dr. Abisho David, 32, who hailed from Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, was serving in the department of anaesthesia at the medical college. Dr David's father, also a doctor, father-in-law and brother-in-law reached Gorakhpur on Saturday. BRD Medical College principal Dr. Raj Kumar expressed deep sorrow over the untimely demise of the doctor. "We have constituted a three-member committee to investigate the circumstances surrounding Dr. David's tragic death. The postmortem is part of the legal procedure, and at present, the college has no official information regarding the exact cause of death," he said. Dr. David's friends said he was passionate about photography and often expressed his feelings through writings and images on social media. As the investigation into his death continues, it is suspected that psychological stress-common among medical professionals-could have been a contributing factor. HTC...
