BAHRAICH, Oct. 16 -- Fresh wolf attacks were reported on Wednesday in multiple villages under the Kaiserganj range of the Bahraich forest division, leaving three people, including two children, injured, forest officials confirmed.The first incident occurred around 5:00 am in Thagpurwa village, where Anju Devi, 35, was attacked by a wolf while sleeping inside her thatched hut. She was taken to CHC Kaiserganj for treatment, said divisional forest officer (DFO) Dr RS Yadav. Around 9:20 am, Radhika, 4, was mauled by a wolf while playing outside her hut in Kodainpurwa village, Post Majhara Taukli. She was immediately rushed to CHC Fakharpur for medical care. The third attack took place around 12:10 pm in Sainpurwa (Chidimaranpurwa), Post Nandwal, where Kishan, 7, was injured outside his hut. The child was also admitted to CHC Fakharpur. In response, the Bahraich forest division has intensified patrols and rescue operations in the Kaiserganj Range.
