Three dist police chiefs among 8 IPS transferred
LUCKNOW, Sept. 1 -- Eight Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, including the district police chiefs of Shamli, Kanpur Dehat and Shravasti, have been transferred by the state government, confirmed senior home department officials here on Sunday.
The list included Shamli superintendent of police (SP) Ram Sewak Gautam, who has been transferred as the SP of Police Training School of Moradabad. Narendra Pratap Singh has replaced him as new the SP of Shamli.
Similarly, Kanpur Dehat SP Arvind Mishra, of the 2015 batch SPS IPS, has been shifted to Economic Offences Wing (EOW), Lucknow. He has been replaced by Regular Recruit (RR) IPS of 2017 batch Shraddha Narendra Pandey. Shravasti SP Ghan Shyam, of 2015 batch SPS IPS, has been sent as the SP of Vigilance Establishment in Lucknow. He has been replaced by 2018 batch RR IPS Rahul Bhati.
Besides, deputy commissioner of police (DCP) of Gautambuddhanagar Lakhan Singh Yadav has been transferred as the commandant of 38 battalion of PAC, Aligarh. Gautambuddhanagar additional DCP Praveen Ranjan Singh has been elevated as the DCP of Gautambuddhanagar.HTC...
