Three die as car crashes into scooter in Bulandshahr
Bulandshahr, Nov. 21 -- A husband, wife, and their six-year-old daughter were killed on Wednesday evening when a car crashed into their scooter. The accident also left three people in the car injured, along with a labourer walking by the roadside, police said.
The impact was very severe. The scooter was torn apart, and the three riders were thrown nearly ten feet away. The front of the car was completely crushed. Passersby rushed to the spot, moved the bodies to the roadside, and helped rescue the injured from the vehicle.
Police arrived soon after being alerted and took all the victims to the Community Health Centre (CHC). Doctors there declared the three scooter riders dead. The other four injured persons were referred to the district hospital. The family on the scooter was from Delhi, while the car occupants were from Noida.
The accident happened barely 100 metres from the Agauta police station. According to eyewitnesses, the family was returning home to Nagla Sheikh after attending a wedding in Alamnagar, Saidpur. Their scooter slipped when another vehicle suddenly appeared in front of them. At the same time, a speeding Swift car from the opposite direction crashed into them.
The deceased were identified as Ansar ,34, his wife Musahida ,30, and their daughter Arisha ,6,. They lived in a rented house in Shaheen Bagh, Delhi. The couple is survived by three older children, son Abuzar ,25, and daughters Shufiya ,22, and Sumaila ,15.
Police have taken the bodies for post-mortem examination and are waiting for a written complaint from the family before registering a case....
