Three arrested for breach ofpeace in separate incidents
LUCKNOW, July 27 -- Police arrested three men in separate incidents on Saturday for disturbing public peace in Qaiserbagh, Malihabad, and Sushant Golf City areas, officials said.
According to an official statement, Mohd Shadab alias Golu, 23, a resident of Machhli Mohal, was arrested in Qaiserbagh for verbally abusing his neighbour and creating a ruckus. A police team on routine patrol reached the spot, but Shadab refused to cooperate despite repeated efforts to pacify both parties. Fearing escalation and in the interest of public safety, he was taken into custody and booked for breach of peace.
In Malihabad's Khadta village, Shailendra Kumar, 20, was arrested following an altercation with a local resident over an old dispute.
Police said he displayed aggressive behaviour and created a scene, prompting officers to detain him. He was booked under Sections 170, 126, and 135 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Meanwhile, in Sushant Golf City area, Arvind, 22, a resident of Pasin Dhakhwa, was arrested for disrupting peace during an investigation related to an FIR. Police said he shouted aggressively during questioning and refused to cooperate. He was booked under Section 170 of the BNS.
"We are committed to maintaining peace and public order. Any individual involved in disturbing the peace will be dealt with firmly as per law," a police spokesperson said....
