India, Aug. 28 -- The Godfather trilogy is returning to the big screen! Filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola's iconic epic will be re-released in select cinemas across India, starting September 12. Audiences can relive the original The Godfather, followed by Part II on October 17 and Part III on November 14 - all restored in 4K for an enhanced theatrical experience at PVR INOX. Adapted from Mario Puzo's bestselling novel, the trilogy follows the powerful Italian-American mafia family led by Don Vito Corleone (played by Marlon Brando), and the rise of his youngest son Michael (played by Al Pacino) from reluctant outsider to ruthless crime boss. Exploring themes of power, loyalty, family, and morality, the films redefined the gangster genre and left a lasting mark on global cinema. This marks the first time Indian audiences can experience all three films in such close succession on the big screen - a rare opportunity for newer generations to witness a cinematic masterpiece as it was meant to be seen. The Godfather trilogy had begun with the iconic 1972 film, followed by Part II in 1974 and the final installment, Part III, in 1990.HTC...
