VARANASI, Nov. 15 -- Former Bihar minister Tej Pratap Yadav's BMW car was damaged after it collided with a three-wheeler in Karnadadi area of the city on Thursday, police said, adding that the car was on its way to Vrindavan from Patna.
Tejpratap is the elder son of Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav.
A police officer said, Tejpratap Yadav's driver, Jaya Pal and his personal assistant, Srijan, were going to Vrindavan by car to bring back Tejpratap to Patna. As the car passed through Karnadadi area, it collided with the three-wheeler. Subsequently, they (driver and PA) got off the car and asked the auto driver Rajendra Sonkar to pay a compensation of Rs 1.8 lakh for getting the car repaired.
