PRAYAGRAJ, Oct. 6 -- A teenager sexually assaulted a five-year-old girl in a village under Mauaima police station area here on Saturday evening. On receiving information from the mother of the victim, police reached the village and arrested the accused. As per reports, the accused, a resident of Sarai Sultan, lured a five-year-old girl into his home and raped her. He took her to his home in a brick cart and locked her in a room and sexually assaulted her. The girl returned home and narrated her ordeal to her family. The family admitted her to a private hospital. The girl's mother informed the police station in-charge at midnight after which police arrested the accused from outside the village.
