LUCKNOW, Aug. 8 -- A private school teacher from Balaganj, Lucknow, has been booked for molesting a 13-year-old Class 7 student. The incident came to light when the victim's father lodged a complaint at the Thakurganj police station on Thursday. Thakurganj inspector Omveer Singh confirmed that a case has been registered, and the accused teacher has been taken into custody. The police are investigating the matter. According to the father, his daughter had been subjected to inappropriate behaviour by the teacher, identified as Mohit Mishra, for the past 15 days. The girl revealed that the teacher followed her to the washroom and touched her inappropriately. On Thursday, when the father went to pick up his daughter from school, she did not come out for a long time. Upon inquiring, the school management provided no information.
