LUCKNOW, July 29 -- Tectro Club and Lucknow Falcons Football Club notched up convincing wins in the District Football League-2025, at the Chowk Stadium here on Monday. Tectro Club defeated Chaus Club 6-0, whereas Lucknow Falcon Club defeated Kalindi Club 7-1. Himanshu Thapa, Aryan, Satish, Aditya, Kamal and Virendra scored for Tector Club in the first match. But in the second match, Sushant hogged the limelight for Lucknow Falcons Football Club, scoring a hat-trick. He scored in the 20th, 38th and 52nd minutes. Sagbar, Nanedo, Jeberson and Sabik were the other scorers. Noman scored for Kalindi Club in the 40th minute. It was a big day for the launch of sporting facilities at the La Martiniere College here on Monday as a golf driving range and practice area and tennis facility started functioning. Hon'ble Justice AR Masoodi, Allahabad High Court, Lucknow Bench was present as the chief guest. All the officials of the Lucknow Golf Club, including Subhash Chandra, Rajneesh Sethi, RS Nanda, and Sanjeev Aggarwal were present on the occasion to mark the beginning of the golf driving range. "The inauguration of the golf driving range and practice area is an excellent example of balance between education and sports," Justice Masoodi said. He also said that such initiatives will not only help in the physical and mental development of the students but will also increase awareness towards sports in the society. At the launch of the tennis facility, La Martiniere College's principal Gary Dominic Everett said that tennis practice has been going on here for a long time.
