LUCKNOW, Nov. 25 -- Lucknowites will have a chance to see as many as three India's T20 players, including captain Suryakumar Yadav in action in the Elite Group A matches of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20 Trophy, beginning here Wednesday, at the Atak Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium. Besides Suryakumar, Mumbai, who begin their campaign against Railways here, will have Shivam Dube in the side. Wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson will lead Kerala team here in the tournament. Despite being a big star for Mumbai Indians with 717 runs in IPL at a strike rate of 167.91 this season, Suryakumar hasn't been among the runs in international cricket, scoring only 184 runs in 15 innings in 2025 at an average of 15.33 and strike rate of 127.77. Like Suryakumar, Dube will also be looking for match practice. He has batted in only six out of 11 T20Is across the Asia Cup and the series in Australia, scoring 76 runs off 60 balls in those games. In fact, Mumbai are the defending champions of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, having beaten Madhya Pradesh in the final in 2024-25....
