Lucknow, July 5 -- Students continued their debates and discussions on several international issues on the second day of the 10th La Martiniere Girls' Model United Nations (LMGMUN) here on Friday. A group debated the effects of cyberattacks on global security while attempting to strike a balance between national sovereignty and international collaboration. It presented its work and defended its positions during the "International Law Commission's review" and discussion of draft resolutions. After extensive deliberations, "UN Human Rights Council" made progress toward a resolution with an agreement by all members on matters of accountability and rights. The "Constant Crisis Committee delegates" considered historical governance critically by examining leadership and power dynamics within the Roman Empire. Besides, the Joint Crisis Committee held combined sessions between two groups, which led to an open debate and the need for confrontation of strategies. The "United Nations Inter-Agency Committee on Bioethics" focused on refining ethical responses to scientific and medical challenges. The "European Union Economic and Social Committee" engaged in discussions on the Gibraltar issue.
