PRAYAGRAJ, Sept. 13 -- The Delhi Public School, Naini, hosted the Prayagraj round of the INTACH Annual Heritage Quiz 2025. The event, organised by the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) Prayagraj Chapter in partnership with DPS-Naini, aimed to raise awareness about India's rich cultural heritage among school students. Fifty-eight teams from various CBSE-affiliated schools took part in the quiz. After a written elimination round, 10 teams made it to the final stage. The quiz featured six rounds, including written, oral, visual, and buzzer rounds. Bhavya Pandey and Ansh Yadav of Patanjali Rishikul School won first place. The second prize went to Divyanshu Pandey and Arya Mishra from Maharishi Vidya Mandir, while Aqsa Mehmood and Zunaira Fatima from LDC Public School came third. The day began with a short opening ceremony followed, led by Ashish Verma, the venue coordinator. Pooja Gupta welcomed the participants and introduced the Quiz Master, Divya Bartaria, along with special guests Colonel (retd.) Parag Bhargava and Ritu Jaiswal. Colonel Bhargava encouraged the students to act as "torchbearers of tradition" and spoke about the importance of protecting Indian heritage. Ritu Jaiswal highlighted how community involvement can support heritage conservation. A short presentation on INTACH's work was given by Vaibhav Maini. The quiz touched on a variety of topics, including Indian history, regional culture, and INTACH's efforts across the country.
