GORAKHPUR, Aug. 3 -- A Class 5 student was injured after a portion of the ceiling plaster collapsed at the Government Composite Upper Primary School in Bala Par village under the Chargawan block of the Gorakhpur on Saturday morning. The victim, identified as Vikram, sustained head injuries after debris struck him while he was in the classroom. When the incident occurred around 11 am, nearly a dozen students were present in the classroom. Teachers immediately rushed the injured child to Guru Gorakhnath Hospital.
