LUCKNOW, Nov. 27 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath has directed that the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) be made stronger, efficient and equipped to combat the drug menace. At a high-level review meeting on Wednesday, he ordered permanent deployment of personnel across all six ANTF police stations and eight units, officials said in a release shared by the state media cell. He emphasised the need for specialised training, modern equipment and digital tracking systems. He instructed officials to expedite the allocation of dedicated courts for all six ANTF police stations, stressing that this would ensure faster trials and stricter action against offenders. He directed that permanent buildings be constructed for each ANTF station to strengthen institutional capacity.
