Varanasi, Dec. 4 -- A stone pelting incident occurred on the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) campus during the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday, resulting in vandalism and injuries. More than 10 flower pots, several vehicles, and chairs at the intersection outside the LD Guest House were damaged. Bricks and stones were scattered along nearly half a kilometre of road inside the campus following the violence. Two people, including a security guard, sustained injuries.
