LUCKNOW, Oct. 8 -- A petty dispute over a car sticker turned violent at Alaknanda Apartment situated within the Gomti Nagar Extension police station limits in Lucknow. The incident took place on October 5, resulting in police booking two residents. According to the FIR filed by Satyendra Dwivedi, a resident of Alaknanda Apartment, two men, Ashok Singh, who is also chairman of the apartment's residents welfare association and Singh's brother, allegedly took offence at Dwivedi's car not having a sticker showing that he was a bona fide resident. The disagreement quickly escalated, with the accused reportedly threatening Dwivedi and physically assaulting him at his residence. "They used hockey sticks to thrash me and threatened to kill me," the complainant added. An FIR was lodged at Gomti Nagar Police Station against the Singh brothers.
