Dehradun, Nov. 7 -- In a major crackdown against drug trafficking under the state government's Drugs-Free Devbhoomi Mission 2025, the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) of Uttarakhand Special Task Force (STF), along with the Vikasnagar police, arrested three alleged drug traffickers with 1.505 kilograms of hashish (Concentrated form of Cannabis) from the Vikasnagar area of Dehradun district on Thursday. Navneet Singh Bhullar, Senior Superintendent of Police, Special Task Force (STF) said the arrested individuals have been identified as Dinesh (26), son of Bhopalu, resident of village Jisu Gharana, Tehsil Kalsi, District Dehradun, Kundan Chauhan (40), son of Amar Singh, resident of village Suryo, Tehsil Kalsi; and Pankaj (25), son of Sardar Singh, also resident of village Suryo, Tehsil Kalsi, District Dehradun. He said the trio was apprehended while transporting the 1.505 kg of hashish, estimated to be worth around Rs.3 lakh in the local market. The contraband and the vehicle used in transportation have been seized, he added. He said the three accused have been booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and further investigation is underway to trace the source of the contraband and identify other members of the network....
