State science expo sees participants showcase innovative projects
LUCKNOW, Oct. 15 -- On the second day-Tuesday-of the state-level science exhibition and project competition under the Inspire Standards Scheme, 155 participants, selected from district-level competitions for the 2024-25 session, gathered to showcase their prototype models and projects. Participants hailed from Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Ayodhya, Devipatan, Azamgarh, Basti, Varanasi, Kanpur, Jhansi and Chitrakoot divisions.
The event is being organised from October 13 to 15 at the Lucknow Public Collegiate, under the joint auspices of the department of science and technology, the National Innovation Foundation-India and the department of secondary education, Uttar Pradesh.
Students and science teachers from various schools in Lucknow district visited the exhibition on Tuesday to review models and projects presented by the participants, said nodal officer Vivek Nautiyal.
On the final day of the exhibition on Wednesday (October 15), some 169 students selected in the district-level competition from the districts of Meerut, Saharanpur, Agra, Aligarh, Moradabad, Lucknow, and Mirzapur divisions will showcase their prototype models and projects. Following this, the jury will collectively announce the results for the year 2024-25, and the best model and project will be selected for the national exhibition....
