BETTIAH, Dec. 1 -- At least five people died and eight others were injured after a speeding truck rammed into six motorbikes and an e-rickshaw in Bihar's East Champaran district on Sunday, police said. Deputy superintendent of police (Sadar 1) Dilip Kumar said the accident took place at Dipau Mor on NH -27, when "a speeding truck entered the service lane and rammed into several vehicles waiting to cross the road".
