VARANASI, Dec. 7 -- A day after Samajwadi Party (SP) MLC Ashutosh Sinha alleged that the names of five members of his family, including himself, were missing from the graduate voters list and later met Varanasi district magistrate Satyendra Kumar demanding correction in the list, the DM on Saturday said a district administration probe into the matter revealed that the names of the MLC and his family members are there on the list. "The SP MLC and his party members submitted a memorandum of demands. An immediate investigation was conducted, and the names of the SP graduate MLC and four of his family members were found on the voter list. Their names are at the booth in tehsil," the DM added. "The family is one, but everyone's names are on different booths. My wife's name is at booth number 71, my mother's name is at booth number 56, my brother's at 18, and my sister-in-law 's name is at booth number five," Sinha claimed. He also alleged that there have been large-scale irregularities in the graduate MLC voter list. The DM assured the SP delegation that all errors will be corrected within a week....
