Soon, dental care facilities at 185 CHCs of 52 districts: Pathak
LUCKNOW, July 11 -- Community health centres (CHCs) in 52 districts of the state will be equipped for providing dental health facilities. A total 185 CHCs will get the equipment for dental care facilities and the required staff.
Deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak in a press statement said, "Budget of Rs 5.18 crore has been made and soon dental chairs will be placed at CHCs, which will improve dental health facilities in rural pockets of the state."
Agra will get six dental chairs, while four each in Budaun, Bareilly, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Bhadohi, Ballia, Sambhal and Kanpur. Ayodhya gets 11, Azamgarh gets 8, Banda gets two, and Basti gets three. Pathak said that facilities are also being improved at RMLIMS as 41 new equipment related to patient care and education are being brought here. Pathak directed officials to soon procure the equipment.
Also in PGI, new equipment are being brought in with a budget of Rs 100 crore. About 80% of the equipment have been brought and the remaining will also be procured soon....
