Agra, Jan. 9 -- Major religious spots and temples in Braj region will soon have CCTV cameras running on solar energy and these cameras will be monitored by the state police and Uttar Pradesh Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad jointly. Focus will be such locations where presently no such arrangements are being made. The project is the outcome of a memorandum of understanding between a firm from Gurgaon in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad (UPBTVP) signed on Thursday with an objective of overall development of the Braj region. It was further declared that a pilot project will be launched for promoting traditional and street food of Braj. Initially, 20 street vendors will be involved with the motive to enhance the livelihood aspect of locals in Braj region. Also, exhibitions will be held to promote spiritual, historical and cultural aspects of Braj region and the competitions to be organised will have student participation. Vice chairman of UPBTVP Shaija Kant Mishra, CEO Suraj Patel, and Dr Aishwarya Mahajan from Foundation attended the event. Principal secretary (tourism, culture and Dharmarth Karya Vibhag) Amrit Abhijat attended the meeting virtually. CEO Suraj Patel was confident that such projects will enhance facilities for devotees coming to Braj as also wished by chief minister Yogi Adityanath who is the chairman of Uttar Pradesh Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad....
