PRAYAGRAJ, May 18 -- A 12-year-old Bihar girl, who was allegedly sold by her parents to a person of Raipur in Rajasthan's Alwar district for Rs 1.5 lakh and later married to a 25-year-old-man, was sent to one-stop centre-intended to support females with the help of child welfare committee-after she created a ruckus at an eatery (dhaba) under Saini police station area in Uttar Pradesh's Kaushambi district late on Friday night, police said on Saturday. The Saini police also took the alleged groom and the middleman in custody for questioning. Confirming the incident, SHO, Saini police station Brijesh Karvariya said the minor opposed the groom's advances at the eatery following which locals present at the scene informed police. "The parents of the bride have been called in and after their arrival a case would lodged against the culprits," he added. The police said some people were taking the girl to Rajasthan. As per the police, the girl is a resident of Vishunpura police station area of Ara district in Bihar. The alleged groom was going to Rajasthan with the girl in a car. On Friday night, he stopped the car at an eatery in Atsarai area under Kaushambi district's Saini police station area to have food. As soon as they entered the eatery, the underage bride suddenly started creating a ruckus. She levelled serious allegations against the alleged groom, the Saini police said....
