Lucknow, June 18 -- The SLMG Beverages, a bottling partner of the Coca-Cola Company, is planning expansion in a phased manner in the state with an investment of Rs 8,000 crore to spread its operations. At present the company has eight modern plants across in the state, including Bareilly, Mathura, Unnao, Safedabad, Barabanki, Amethi and Ayodhya. The company also has one plant in Patna, Bihar. The company's Trishundi plant in Amethi district, spread over 30 acres, is among Southeast Asia's advanced facilities, has eight production lines. The plant directly employs 430 people and provides indirect employment to over 500 more.
