Skilled youngsters find better jobs, 8,000 sent to Israel, says minister
LUCKNOW, Dec. 24 -- Immense employment opportunities open up for youth after they receive training, and when good options are available, young people naturally opt for better prospects without any restrictions, said minister of state (Independent Charge) for vocational education, skill development and entrepreneurship Kapil Dev Agarwal in the Legislative Council, on Tuesday. Around 8,000 youths have been sent to Israel for employment, where they are earning between Rs.1.5 lakh and Rs.2.5 lakh per month, he added.
He said the department regularly meets industry bodies such as IIA, FICCI and CII, and through ongoing dialogue in industrial hubs like Noida, Kanpur and Lucknow, youths are being trained to meet industry requirements.
Emphasising technical training, training is being provided in sectors such as plumbing, electrical work, automobiles, drones, solar energy and EVs, creating jobs in rural and urban areas. He stated that in the last three years, approximately 8,000 young people have been sent to Israel for employment, where they are earning between Rs.1.5 lakh and Rs.2.5 lakh per month....
