LUCKNOW, Oct. 4 -- In the third edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2025 (UPITS-2025), the department of skill development and vocational education secured second position for its sector-wise pavilion display. Uttar Pradesh ministers Rakesh Sachan and Nand Gopal Gupta 'Nandi' presented the award to the officials of the department. At the exhibition, the department showcased sector-based stalls representing both modern and traditional technologies and products, highlighting the diverse skill ecosystem of the state. Skill development, vocational education and entrepreneurship minister Kapil Dev Aggarwal congratulated the departmental team. He said the achievement is a result of the consistent efforts made to skill the youth of UP and connect them with employment and entrepreneurship opportunities. He added that showcasing the department's initiatives in such international exhibitions further strengthens the positive image of the state. The concept and execution of the pavilion were guided by principal secretary, Hari Om, mission director, UP Skill Development, Pulkit Khare and director Abhishek Singh.
