Six Assam tourists hurt as parked car rolls back near Taj
AGRA, May 6 -- Six tourists from Assam were injured after a car parked in the designated area at the western gate of the Taj Mahal rolled back because of a slope there on Monday, police said.
As per the police, four tourists, who suffered minor injuries, were taken to the district hospital and were discharged after first aid. The remaining two were taken SN Medical College and Hospital. Assistant commissioner of police (Taj security) Syed Areeb Ahmed said the injured tourists were provided medical aid.
Confirming the incident, station house officer, Tajganj police station, Jasvir Singh said the car had a registration number of Delhi.
"As seen in the CCTV camera, the car suddenly began moving back because of slope. The domestic tourists with their back facing the car were caught unawares. The police are looking into the matter," the SHO said....
