Shravasti tops state with 97.86% resolution rate
LUCKNOW, June 6 -- Shravasti district has again secured the top position in complaint disposal, followed by Shahjahanpur and Amethi, according to the May rankings released by the CM Dashboard and Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS).
Shravasti district magistrate Ajay Kumar Dwivedi stated that the complaint disposal in the district is being carried out as per the chief minister's directives. A structured strategy has been implemented to ensure timely redressal of grievances. Public hearings are held daily at 10 am, followed by continuous monitoring of complaint progress throughout the day. Pending cases are reviewed at 5 pm and feedback cases marked as unsatisfactory are assessed at 9 p.m., he added.
Following CM's directives, all departmental officers were instructed to prioritise grievance disposal. Nodal officers regularly monitor the quality of resolutions, ensuring transparency and effectiveness. As a result, Shravasti has consistently ranked among the top five districts in terms of timely and high-quality grievance disposal. According to the latest reports from the IGRS and CM Dashboard for May, the district secured the top position, the district magistrate added.
Shravasti topped the May IGRS report with a score of 137 out of 140 points and a complaint resolution rate of 97.86% - the highest in the state. Other top-performing districts included Shahjahanpur in second place with a 95.71% resolution rate, followed by Amethi at 94.29%, Hamirpur at 94.29%, and Ambedkar Nagar at 89.29%, securing the fifth position.
These districts not only resolved complaints within the stipulated time but also ensured high standards of solution quality. The sixth to tenth ranks were secured by Hathras, Azamgarh, Chandauli, Mainpuri, and Siddharth Nagar, respectively.
The IGRS ranking system has fostered healthy competition among districts, ultimately benefiting the citizens of Uttar Pradesh.
