LUCKNOW, April 20 -- A 27-year-old man was killed in a gruesome road accident in Uttar Pradesh's Shravasti district after his motorcycle crashed into a roadside railing while attempting to avoid a speeding auto late Saturday night. The impact was so severe that the victim was decapitated, while another rider lost his leg. A third person sustained serious injuries, police said. The accident occurred on the Khairi Tarai Road under Sirsiya police station limits, between Chhotki Suiya and Khaira Tarai. The deceased has been identified as Raju Gautam, a resident of Kakardari village in Malhipur area.
