Ahmedabad, July 7 -- Union Home Minister and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah on Sunday launched the Sardar Patel Cooperative Dairy Federation to be developed on the lines of Amul while announcing plans to establish 2 lakh new cooperative societies across India. The multi-state Federation aims to establish a system of organized milk procurement, fair pricing and circular economy in the dairy sector.
