MEERUT, Nov. 28 -- Viral social media content creator Shadab Jakati was arrested by Meerut police on Thursday after an FIR was registered against him at Incholi police station, officials said. A complaint was filed by a local resident, Aneesh, claiming that Jakati's latest reel, featuring a minor girl, contained obscene comments and involvement of a child. SP (rural) Abhijeet Kumar said, "A case has been registered under Section 296 (obscene acts and songs) of BNS and Section 67 of the IT Act. He was arrested and produced before the court.
