Sex racket uncovered near Jhunsi Station
Prayagraj, Sept. 6 -- A sex racket was discovered at a house near Jhunsi railway station on Thursday evening, leading to protests by local residents. Police arrested three women, believed to be running the operation, along with two men. Several others reportedly managed to escape during the disturbance.
Locals said they had been suspicious for some time due to the regular visits of young men to the house. On Thursday evening, a group of residents decided to enter the property. They claimed to have found evidence of illegal activity and called the police.
Initially, police were slow to respond, but after videos of the incident were shared widely on social media, senior officers stepped in and ordered immediate action. A First Information Report (FIR) has since been filed against the accused. Deputy commissioner of police (City) Abhishek Bharti confirmed the incident.
