LUCKNOW, Nov. 29 -- The state government has ordered that seven government doctors absent from duty without notice since long will be terminated. Also, four other doctors will get adverse entry for laxity in duty and deduction in pension for a former chief medical officer for financial irregularities. Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, who directed officials in health and medical education department for action against these doctors, wrote on X, "I have directed officials to terminate these doctors". Four of these doctors are from Mainpuri, one each from Sultanpur, Saharanpur, Barabanki and Kushinagar. One of these doctors is posted at primary health centre in Lekhrajpur, another at Bhogaon primary health centre, third at Karhal primary health centre and the fourth is posted at Sultanpur Sanda primary health centre, all in Mainpuri district. Fifth doctor is posted at primary health centre in Sadhauli in Saharanpur, sixth at primary health centre in Hata in Kushinagar and the last one was under the chief medical officer in Barabanki district. Pathak, who is also state's health minister, has ordered adverse entry for faculty in orthopaedic department at Prayagraj state medical college for laxity in getting doctors available in OPD. Adverse entry has also been recommended for a doctor, who was transferred from Mahoba to Shravasti, but did not join duty for the past three months. "Another doctor posted at primary health centre at Barnahal in Mainpuri will face disciplinary action for joining PG course without permission," Pathak wrote on X. A doctor posted in Ghaziabad will get an adverse entry and will be deprived of two increments for making incorrect report after ultrasound examination of a patient. The minister also ordered 30% pension cut for financial irregularities done by a government doctor while he was posted as chief medical officer in Ballia. A former additional chief medical officer in Farrukhabad will also get an adverse entry for delay in vacating government accommodation....
