Set up on 98K sq feet, Prerna Sthal museum ready for launch
LUCKNOW, Dec. 24 -- The curation work of the museum spread over 98,000 square-feet area at the Rashtra Prerna Sthal in Lucknow's Vasant Kunj area has been completed, paving the way for its inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 25, officials said.
Dedicated to Dr Syama Prasad Mukherjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya and former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee and developed by the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA), the museum block has been curated by Pan Intelcom. The facility comprises five galleries and five courtyards spread over two floors, designed to chronicle the lives, ideas and contributions of the three national leaders.
According to officials, the museum has been envisioned as an immersive learning space that communicates the spirit of nationalism to younger generations.
The museum also includes five open courtyards rich in symbolism and features 12 interpretation walls showcasing murals and relief art depicting key events of India's freedom struggle and the lives of great national figures....
