LUCKNOW, Dec. 2 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday said senior police officers posted in districts must closely monitor the resolution of public grievances at their local level. He made the remark while meeting complainants from across the state at Janata Darshan at his official residence. Two complainants sought additional financial assistance and the chief minister assured prompt help. Some children also came to the Janata Darshan along with their parents. The chief minister interacted 'affectionately' with children, gave them chocolates, and encouraged them to study well, said a press statement issued by the state government. Over 42 individuals arrived at the Janata Darshan. The chief minister said that the government is committed to helping every victim, adding that regular financial assistance is being provided for medical needs.
