LUCKNOW, Nov. 18 -- The upcoming phase of selecting Indian workers for Israel's construction sector is set to begin on Wednesday (November 19), with officials confirming that the Yadupati Singhania Vocational Education Foundation in Kanpur will serve as the venue for pre-screening and professional testing. National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) International CEO Alok Kumar and Construction Skill Development Council of India CEO Hari Narayan Raj said the decision was finalised after virtual meetings between NSDC and Israel's Population and Immigration Authority, PIBA, followed by an inspection of the Kanpur campus. Under the plan, the process will move ahead in four stages. Candidates registering on the Rojgar Sangam portal will be shortlisted for sorting based on seniority. Those who clear the sorting will undergo pre-screening, and candidates who pass this stage will be included in the final test conducted by PIBA. The final selection will be based on PIBA's assessment. Applicants will be able to download admit cards with QR codes from the portal for the sorting, pre-screening, and final screening phases. Officials said candidates must follow all conditions laid down by NSDC and PIBA, or their applications may be cancelled. htc...
