Search on for missing UP man in Haridwar
Dehradun, Sept. 15 -- State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) intensified its search on Sunday for a man who drowned in the Ganga at Namami Gange Ghat under Chandi Ghat outpost limits in Haridwar district.
According to SDRF officials, the victim has been identified as 33-year-old Naman Kishore, son of Ram Singh, a resident of Sadakpur village in Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal district. Kishore reportedly drowned on Saturday, following which the SDRF was alerted by the central control room in Haridwar.
A rescue team reached the spot with diving gear and launched a search operation in coordination with the Jal police. On Sunday, the SDRF extended and intensified the search from Namami Gange Ghat to Kundi village, but the efforts remained unsuccessful till the filing of this report....
