Lucknow, Nov. 4 -- The wife of a senior scientist at the National Botanical Research Institute was allegedly robbed of jewellery worth around Rs.15 lakh, police said on Monday. The robbery took place when she and her husband were travelling on the Rapti Sagar Express. The in-charge of Government Railway Police station at Charbagh, Dharmveer Singh, confirmed that an FIR has been registered in connection with the incident. The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday when Manish Bhoyar, a senior scientist at CSIR-NBRI, and his wife Bhagyashree were returning to Lucknow after the Diwali holidays. htc...
