PRAYAGRAJ, Dec. 14 -- Dense fog that has disrupted travel since Friday night led to a collision between a school bus and a car in Pratapgarh on Saturday morning. The accident occurred near Domipur under the Dehat Kotwali police station area. All children on board the bus and the car driver escaped unhurt, though both vehicles were damaged. Police said a replacement bus was arranged to take the students to school safely. The incident occurred around 8.30 am when a bus belonging to Sanskar Global School in Teunga, Dehat Kotwali, was ferrying 27 students from Jethwara. At the same time, Raghav Singh, a resident of Narayanpur in Jethwara, was driving home in his car. As the bus attempted to overtake another vehicle on the Mohanganj-Jethwara road near Domipur, it collided head-on with Singh's car amid poor visibility caused by dense fog. The impact damaged the right side of the car and left the children on the bus shaken. Locals and parents rushed to the spot after hearing the crash. The school administration promptly arranged another bus to ensure the children reached school safely. Mohanganj police post in-charge Rohit Singh and Dehat Kotwali Station House Officer Pushpraj Singh also reached the scene to assess the situation....
