Lucknow, May 16 -- The Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) on Thursday announced to contest the upcoming Bihar assembly elections and panchayat elections in Uttar Pradesh proposed next year. At the national executive committee meeting of the SBSP on Thursday, party's president Om Prakash Rajbhar stressed on expanding party's presence across dozens of states to make the party a national party soon. Addressing the gathering, Rajbhar, who is Cabinet minister in the state government, stated that the party is growing rapidly, with support from people of all societies, castes, and religions. On caste census, Rajbhar stated that his party has been demanding a caste census for years, and the recent announcement by the Prime Minister is a significant step in this direction. On Bihar assembly polls, the SBSP chief announced that the party will contest the Bihar assembly elections with full strength and will also participate in the upcoming panchayat elections in Uttar Pradesh.
