SBSP launches Rashtriya Suheldev Sena, holds training camp
VARANASI, Jan. 20 -- After forming the Rashtriya Suheldev Sena (RSS), Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) president and cabinet minister Omprakash Rajbhar organised a training camp for RSS members in Azamgarh on Sunday.
SBSP national general secretary Arvind Rajbhar distributed yellow-painted 2.5-foot sticks and yellow attire to RSS volunteers in the Atraulia area of Azamgarh, which is considered a stronghold of the Samajwadi Party. Most of the volunteers were dressed in Yellow T-shirts. The self-defence training was imparted to the members by a retired Army personnel in Atraulia.
Addressing the gathering, Rajbhar described the sticks as unlicensed weapons and explained their objective in detail. He added that the RSS would also function as the youth wing of the SBSP."RSS has been constituted with an objective of organising the deprived, exploited, and backward classes of society and making them aware of social justice, self-respect, and their constitutional rights," added Rajbhar.
The organisation will work to build a strong society based on the values of social equality and national interest, said Rajbhar, adding that the volunteers will spread the heroic saga, ideology, and struggles of Maharaja Suheldev Rajbhar to every citizen and help build a nationalist consciousness based on his ideals.
The volunteers will promote unity, brotherhood, and organisational strength while opposing social division and discrimination, the SBSP chief said. They will also work to protect the constitutional rights of the most backward, Dalit, deprived, and weaker sections and inspire youth towards leadership, discipline, and social responsibility.
The volunteers will organise awareness campaigns on education, employment, reservation, and equal opportunities, and wage a democratic fight against injustice, oppression, corruption, and exploitation.
Rajbhar said the RSS will also work to strengthen national unity, social harmony, and cultural pride, while providing social service and public assistance during disasters and crises.
"The resolve of the National Suheldev Sena is to build a strong, dignified, and just society through organisation, struggle, and service," Rajbhar said....
