LUCKNOW, July 22 -- Satyam Maurya, Gurmeet Singh and Sonia Sahni won double gold medals in the trials held at the KD Singh 'Babu' Stadium for selection of Lucknow athletics team here on Monday.. Satyam secured first position in men's shot put and discus throw. Rajveer Yadav secured second position and Aryan Sonkar secured third position in men's shot put. Mrinjal Jain secured second position in men's discus throw. In the men's 100 meter race, Gurmeet Singh finished top, Medhanjay second and Avni third. Apart from this, Gurmeet also secured first position in 200 meter race, while Medhanjay secured second position. Sonia Sahni secured first position in women's long jump and triple jump. Sarvjeet Patel secured first position in men's 20 km walk. In the men's 1500 meter race, Shiv Kumar Yadav secured first position, Satyam Yadav second and Amarjeet Singh third. In the men's 5000 meter race, Raghubir Yadav secured first position and Ashutosh Sharma second. In the men's 3000m race, Anupam came first and Gyanendra Kumar Rawat came second, whereas in the men's 400m hurdles, N Kumar secured first place. In the men's 10000m race, Islam Ali came first, Ravi Pal second and Sonu Singh Rajput came third....
