LUCKNOW, Nov. 18 -- A grand "Sardar @150 Ekta Yatra" in Sarojininagar marked the ongoing commemoration of 150th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The march commenced from Scooter India Crossing and culminated at Sainik Inter College Ground, with hundreds of citizens participating in it. The 2.5 km-long march, organised under Sarojininagar MLA Rajeshwar Singh, witnessed participation of BJP state general secretary Sanjay Rai, party's district chief Anand Dwivedi besides local residents, traders, social organisations and BJP workers. Singh described Sardar Patel as the chief architect of modern India. He said: "When India attained independence, there were 562 princely states, each with its own constitution and flag. It was Sardar Patel's unwavering resolve and unmatched statesmanship that laid the foundation of an integrated India." He expressed serious concern over external and internal threats facing India. He emphasised the emerging threats of cyber warfare, social conflict, and border confrontations. "India faces nearly 3,000 cyber attacks daily.
