She praised SSU saying the university is not only a proud centre of Sanskrit language, but is also playing a leading role in the promotion of ancient forms like Pali and Prakrit. She discussed the importance of Sanskrit and culture in detail and appealed to professors that this fountain of Sanskrit knowledge should flow to every home. Through this language, our sages sang the Vedas, contemplated the Upanishads, preached the Gita, and immortalised the ideals of life through the Ramayana and Mahabharata. Sanskrit is the repository of all Indian languages; without Sanskrit, no language can achieve its greatness. It is our responsibility to preserve and promote this invaluable heritage. Union minister of culture, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, said that Sanskrit is not just a language but an invaluable treasure encompassing India's glorious history and a source of energy for all Indians. It is impossible to fully understand India without knowledge of Sanskrit. This university is not only a centre of knowledge but also a mirror of Indian culture, a university that pursues a noble mission by preserving and promoting India's philosophy, language, and traditions....
