Sangam City students shine, several score over 90% marks
PRAYAGRAJ, May 1 -- Sangam city students excelled in the 2026 ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) exams with many scoring over 90% marks. The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared the result on Thursday.
Lakshita Kushwaha from Girls' High School and College obtained 99.20% marks in Class 10, while Nishkarsh Gupta from St Joseph's College secured 99.25% in Class 12. Several other students across the city crossed the 99% mark.
At Boys' High School and College, 314 students appeared for the ISC examination and 44 secured over 90% marks. In the ICSE examination at the same institution, 108 out of 492 students scored 90% marks or more.
At IPEM International School, nearly 70% of ISC students scored above 80%, while in the ICSE examination, more than 78% of students scored above 80%.
From St John's Academy, Karchana, 138 students appeared in the ICSE examination, with 27 securing over 90% marks.
Among them, Kavyansh Thakur scored 100 marks each in English, Computer Applications, History and Civics, Chemistry, and Biology. In the ISC examination at the academy, 18 out of 87 students crossed the 90% benchmark....
