Meerut, May 4 -- Sambhal's controversial deputy superintendent of police Anuj Chaudhary has been transferred to Chandausi circle with senior police officials claiming that it was done as per the routine process. The officer was embroiled in a row over allegedly communal remarks made by him in March. The director general of police (DGP) has revoked a previous clean chit granted to Chaudhary, ordering a re-investigation. ASP Shrish Chandra confirmed that the case is being reinvestigated.
