GORAKHPUR, Dec. 15 -- The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has announced a major outreach campaign in the Gorakhpur region as part of its centenary year celebrations. RSS city unit in-charge Sanjay Srivastava said a total of 124 conferences will be organised within Gorakhpur city over the next month, while around 160 surrounding localities have been identified for smaller, community-level programmes. These conferences are being planned under the framework prepared by the Hindu Conference Organising Committee. He added that RSS sarkaryavah (general secretary) Dattatreya Hosabale was scheduled to arrive in Gorakhpur on Monday afternoon for a three-day visit. Providing further details, Srivastava said Hosabale will visit Sant Kabir Nagar on Tuesday. He will address two conferences-one at Gorakhpur Club, where he will interact with the intellectual community, and then another at Khorabar Khel Ground on December 17 at 2:00 pm. Srivastava said the conferences will focus on themes such as the awakening of Hindutva, the concept of a Hindu nation, transformative social change through the Panch Parivartan initiative, unity of Hindu society, Indian identity, and nationalism. "We are striving to reach every Hindu family in each locality to help them understand the true significance of Panch Parivartan," Srivastava said. According to the RSS, the outreach campaign will cover the entire Gorakhpur-Basti-Azamgarh division, spanning ten districts. Instead of large centralised events, smaller gatherings will be held at the neighbourhood level. The campaign is expected to conclude on January 14. HTC...
