Lucknow, Oct. 27 -- The convocation of Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU), Lucknow, will be held on November 2. A total of 21 medals, including gold, silver, bronze and special memorial medals, and 309 degrees will be awarded to students for their academic excellence. The ceremony will be attended by several dignitaries. Chief minister Yogi Adityanath, who is also the chairperson of the RMLNLU General Council, will be the special invitee. Justice Surya Kant, Judge, Supreme Court of India, will be the chief guest, while Justice Vikram Nath, Judge, Supreme Court of India and visitor of the university, will preside over the convocation. Justice Arun Bhansali, chief justice of the high court of judicature at Allahabad, will be the guest of honour. During the ceremony, special memorial gold medals will also be presented to students securing the highest marks in taxation law, criminal law and constitutional law, besides honours for student of the year, best mooter and best performance in competitive exams. Among the top achievers, Darshika Pandey will receive three medals- the Bronze Medal (BA LLB), the Padmavati Mohanlal Jariwala Gold Medal for highest marks in constitutional law and the Virendra Bhatia Gold Medal for student of the year. Abhyuday Pratap will be conferred two gold medals, the BA LLB (Hons) Gold Medal and the KK Luthra Memorial Gold Medal for best mooter.
