LUCKNOW, Sept. 14 -- Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS) director Prof CM Singh listed the achievements of the institute on its annual foundation day on Saturday.
"Our institution is providing high-quality healthcare services, earning recognition from the Quality Council of India, a certification agency, making it the first government institution in the state to achieve this distinction," he said.

"Our institution is the first state-run centre in the country to have a robotic surgery system, with nearly 150 patients having undergone surgery using the world's best robots.
"We are fully prepared to perform complex surgeries using robotic surgery in the future," he added.
"We have completed several projects, including the construction of an advanced neuroscience centre, a conference hall, lecture theater, and cafeteria in the academic block, and a rural health training center in Juggaur.
"Currently, we are working on several projects, including the construction of a transplant center, a critical care hospital block, an indoor sports complex, new hostels for students, and a nursing college building."
